Description
Muslin cloth is an unbleached, natural material, making it ideal for use in the kitchen. Muslin is a finely-woven fabric often used when filtering stocks or consommes, making jellies or cheeses, or even filtering the sediment out of red wine and port before pouring it into a decanter. Muslin is also perfect for dressmaking: spring trousers, skirts, slacks, and dresses, and would also work up beautifully into home fashions.
This muslin fabric will last for ages, proving great value for money. Muslin is a reusable material if looked after properly. Rinse in cold water after using the cloth, and then machine wash with an unscented detergent. Muslin can be boiled to sterilise it.
